District 3 (Electronics) – Book vs. Movie
Sunday, March 25 (Exact time TBA)
Join us at the MJR theaters (around 11am) to see The Hunger Games and then meet us back at the library for a lively discussion (along with a delicious lunch), arguing which was better: the book or the movie. Pre-registration for this event is required and will begin Sunday, March 13.

Join us to create a fantastic bowl from ordinary, wooden, tongue-depressors. Registration begins Monday, March 14. Limit of 12 participants.
The Brighton District - The Cats and the Fiddler

Join us for a fantastic concert, featuring The Cats and the Fiddler, an amazing trio of 16 year olds who specialize in acoustic music with influences from multiple genres including country, bluegrass, blues, and jazz. This is an event you don't want to miss! Drop-in.

Join us to make some different facial scrubs and lotions from ordinary household ingredients. Registration begins Monday, April 16. Limit of 12 participants.
You will have the opportunity to win copies of "The Hunger Games" and tickets to the major motion picture release of the film on Friday, March 23, 2012 throughout the month of events.

Survival Skills for the Wilderness with George Hedgepeth

Briar Patch Outdoors expert George Hedgepeth gives an introduction to wilderness survival skills, including answers to questions like: Where would you look for water? What would you look for in the way of food? How do you construct shelter? Fire? What new uses for the common things we might find or have can be found to prolong survival?
